The Problem
Owning a plane means owning every problem that comes with it — hangar rent, annual inspections, unexpected repairs, and insurance that costs thousands whether you fly or not.
Most flying clubs solve the cost problem by keeping fees low and waitlists long. You're technically a member, but you're rarely in the air.
Miss a few months and you fall off insurance currency requirements — grounded until you log more hours, on a plane that might not be available when you need it.

Our Solution
Two numbers: $800 to join, $165/month. Fly the Cessna 172 for $165/hour wet — fuel included, no hidden fees. We cover insurance, hangaring, and maintenance. You just fly.
Fleet availability is protected by our bylaws - 20 pilots per plane. The planes stay available, airworthy, and well-equipped.
Members fly more because access is real. No waitlists, no currency traps, no surprise bills — just show up and fly.
Why Us
Reserve your spot.
Unrivaled Safety
We don't outsource safety. We have 14 full-time mechanics with a combined 96 years of experience working on Cessna 172 models.
There is no other aero club that can boast those maintenance numbers.
Affordable with Perks
Our fuel, hangaring, and maintenance, are all in-house, meaning we can maintain and fuel our aircraft at a cheaper rate than our competitors.
This allows us to provide other perks - higher availability, dedicated club FBO space - and more.
Fly When You Want
Our bylaws require a strict member-to-plane ratio, that is better than any other flying club in the region.

While our competitors offer one plane for every 26-31 members, we will keep our ratio at 20:1. More availability, more flying.
Why We Are Different
How we measure up
The Treasure Valley has some incredible providers, and we have nothing negative to say about our busy competitors. However, their popularity has created massive delays, with some waitlists stretching out for four years. If you don't want to put your life on hold, it’s time to try Silverhawk.

Goldilocks Zone
Pilots to planes ratio
Less pilots per plane means more flight availability. Exclusive “equity partnership” clubs maintain a 12:1 ratio, but are 5X the price in dues. The largest clubs in the United States maintain a 30:1 ratio, which lowers dues but causes book nightmares. We believe a 20:1 ratio is the “Goldilocks Zone.”
20 Pilots per plane will feel like 12 pilots per plane, as not all 20 pilots are ever “active” in any given month. As such, this ratio should feel like an equity partnership club, but with the dues of a larger club.
